Programme for Professionals Shaping Modern Workplaces and Expanding Their Professional Impact

About the Programme

Do you work in HR, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, or in a role where questions concerning the future of work, employer attractiveness, skills shortages, or the design of flexible working and career pathways are becoming an increasingly important part of your job? Do you support employees at different stages of their lives and careers – from entering the workforce to retiring – and want to develop your skills in this dynamic environment?

Would you like to develop the potential of employees in a sustainable way, strengthen your professional impact and explore ways of actively shaping modern workplaces?

This programme provides a structured framework for expanding your expertise in HR, DE&I, and People & Culture topics while developing the key competencies required for the dynamic world of work and life. You will also benefit from a strong professional network. At its core, the programme addresses how professionals can provide guidance, facilitate change, and develop sustainable solutions for individuals and organisations.

Second cohort: Starting on 1 September (in English)

Programme Content and Learning Formats

Through interactive online inputs delivered by recognised experts and practice-oriented peer formats, you will acquire and deepen your knowledge of highly topical issues related to the future of work:

  • The conscious use of AI in inclusive HR processes
  • Supporting and leveraging neurodiversity in the workplace
  • Conducting pay analyses effectively and drawing the right conclusions
  • Harnessing innovation potential through the integration of people with disabilities in the workplace
  • Enhancing employer attractiveness through career development, family planning, and fertility

Optional and subject to additional costs): In addition, you will reflect on specific challenges from your everyday work in small groups of 10 to 15 people during collegial case consultations (kollegiale Fallberatung) and develop a clear and implementation-oriented action plan under expert guidance.

“For me, collegial counselling demonstrates the power of interdisciplinary collaboration: Different perspectives create a holistic approach and open up new ways of thinking. Creative exchange gives rise to innovative solutions that go far beyond individual ideas – a real asset when addressing complex challenges.”

Hannah Brunner, Human Resources Specialist, PostFinance

The programme also includes individual coaching sessions that you may use flexibly, as well as e-learning modules that provide or refresh foundational knowledge on key DE&I topics.

The programme is complemented by the free participation in the St. Gallen Diversity & Inclusion Week and the optional participation in the launch of the Gender Intelligence Report, and an annual reunion with networking opportunities. The continuous exchange within your cohort and the ability to select the topics that are currently most relevant to you will support your targeted and effective professional development in a dynamic working environment.

Overview & Modules

26 May 2026

Regardless of which package you choose, we strongly recommend attending the kick-off session. As well as getting to know one another and sharing expectations, we will introduce an analytical model that will enable you to systematically expand your scope for action across a wide range of contexts. By exploring different perspectives on various challenges (e.g. difficult leadership situations, conflict, resistance, etc.), you will enrich your toolkit with additional guiding questions and practical tools. This will help you to identify potential solutions that you may have previously overlooked.

02 June 2026

Equal pay analyses are more than an administrative obligation. When applied correctly, they provide valuable insights for improving equal opportunities. It is therefore essential to conduct them intelligently and to draw the right conclusions from the results. In this session, our experts will present concrete examples and provide practical guidance on what to consider when conducting equal pay analyses, and how to use them to foster an inclusive organisational culture.

16 June 2026

The inclusion of people with disabilities is often associated with (disproportionate) additional effort – a misconception that rarely holds true. In fact, incorporating the perspectives of people with disabilities frequently leads to innovations that benefit all employees. Our experts will present practical examples that are both compelling and supported by scientific evidence.

30 June 2026

This session gives team members a clear, realistic orientation on what AI can (and cannot) do today, what is likely to matter next, and how to think about using it responsibly in everyday work. Participants will get a practical overview of where AI typically creates value in team workflows, where risks and biases can appear, and what simple “sanity checks” help spot issues early. They will also see a handful of common use cases and lightweight ways to define what “good” looks like without overengineering. Takeaways include a concise team-facing AI landscape brief and an “Adoption First” starter checklist for experimenting safely and effectively.

7 July 2026

The proportion of so-called neurodivergent individuals is increasing, particularly among younger employees. The implications vary widely. Many organisations struggle to include neurodivergent individuals effectively and leverage their potential, although small adjustments are often sufficient. What can you do – as a team member or a leader – and what boundaries should you be aware of?

25 August 2026

For many people, starting a family remains a key life goal, even though family models continue to evolve. However, not everyone is able to realise this aspiration, often due to a lack of knowledge regarding fertility. This expert input explores the realistic contribution organisations can make to supporting employees’ career development and family planning – and how this, in turn, impacts employer attractiveness.
