Children, careers and the bigger picture may still feel a long way off. Nevertheless, many decisions that will later have a major impact on one’s career, financial independence and family planning are made earlier than one might think. This makes it all the more valuable to engage with different experiences and perspectives at an early stage.
That is precisely what Awareness Day is all about. People from the worlds of academia, business and politics speak openly about their own journeys: What went well? What did they underestimate? And what would they do differently today?
No patronising lectures, just personal insights, honest stories and plenty of opportunity for questions.
The event kicks off with an academic presentation by Dr Ines Hartmann, Director of the Competence Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI) at the University of St Gallen (HSG). Our role models will then continue the discussion on the panel with:
Dr. Fabienne E. Meier, Partner, Knight & Gianella
Holger Laubenthal, CEO Cembra
Dr. Sabine Magri, Head Personal Banking, UBS
Moderation: Nicole Niedermann, Associate Director CCDI
Afterwards, we’d love for you to join us for a chat. Do pop round, have a listen, ask any questions you might have, and stay on for a drink. We look forward to seeing you.
